KNIVSIDAN

Knivsidan was formed in a gray and overcast Eskilstuna as summer took its last breaths. The leaves on the trees had just begun to shift into shades of yellow and red when the first songs were written and recorded. The band’s music reflects the environment in which it was created, both on a physical and emotional level. The band consists of experienced musicians with a decidedly eclectic musical background. What all the members have in common is that they have all lived for a period in the Nyfors district—specifically, the lower part of Nyfors, which has been colloquially known as Knivsidan.
