DANIEL & THE RIVER

Daniel & The River was born out of Daniel Jonsson’s love for rock, Americana, and a touch of country. With a collection of songs, Daniel reached out to some musician friends to form a band.

Hailing from Arbrå and Söderhamn, Sweden, the band currently consists of Daniel Jonsson, drummer Marcus Losbjer (DiLeva, Wolverine), bassist Stefan Sköld (formerly of Nordman), guitarist Magnus “Blim” Söderblom, and Daniel Karlsson on keyboards.

Last year, they won the Swedish Radio P4 competition P4 Nästa, earning the opportunity to perform at the annual event Musikhjälpen. Their song also received A-list rotation on SR P4 Riks, where it continues to be played.

The new single, which is the title track from their upcoming album North Meadow Ghosts, is currently being recorded and is expected to be released before the summer.
