Cloud Motel

Cloud Motel is a trio led by longtime Greek collaborators Nikos and Eleni, along with Belgian sound artist Luc. After decades spent scoring obscure arthouse films, archiving lost ambient works, and working in isolation, the trio reunited during the stillness of the 2020s to form Cloud Motel, a project devoted to the beauty of stillness, memory, and tonal light.

Their debut album, Heatwaves & Halos, unfolds like a slowly developing photograph: shimmering, minimal, and deeply immersive. With a palette of faded textures, soft noise, and warm analog air, each track becomes a postcard from a city both distant and internal… a place where time feels gently suspended.
