Weibenfalk

WEIBENFALK: A dedicated and soulful singer and poet, with his highly electric band. Performing entirely original songs, he takes the audience on a journey through the Swedish rock poetry of the ’80s and ’90s, all the way to the distinct nuances of the present. An updated experience in every sense.

Thomas Weibenfalk, raised in Nybro, has been writing and releasing his own music for 25 years, with a total of a dozen albums in his discography. Much of his work was created during a long 12-year stint in Stockholm, where he collaborated with drummer and producer Andreas Dahlbäck, who produced and recorded three of Weibenfalk’s albums. On those albums, several members of Ulf Lundell’s backing band also participated.

Weibenfalk is currently performing his music live with his band, delivering shows in true Springsteen spirit. Among his more popular songs, “Fantastiska tider” is a regular on the setlist. More electronic tracks like the fan favorites “Aska & Sten”, “Mörkret”, and “Vild själ” also frequently appear in the repertoire.

Beautiful ballads such as “Stenkast från livet” are performed with soul and emotion that resonates deeply with the audience.
His songs are frequently played on Sweden’s national radio channel, P4.

Spring 2024 marked the premiere of his new Kalmar-based band, performing music under his name but very much shaped by the collective talent of its members.
